Now, more than ever, is the time to stand up against racism, discrimination and exclusion. Our sphere of influence is running, and that is where we need to take action. People must not be excluded from running because of their background, color, religion, gender or identity. If we don't want the sport of running to become a rallying point for the eternally yesterday and hateful populists, then we need to take care of our community. Speak up when you witness or experience discrimination. Connect with other runners who are also fighting for an open and equal world. And most importantly, show everyone out there where you stand.
